The 25-year-old left-arm spinner, who is also the leading wicket-taker in ODIs for Pakistan with 174 wickets, has broken into the top 10 following her performance during the recently concluded West Indies tour of Pakistan. During the series against West Indies, she picked up 13 wickets at an average of 15.92 and economy rate of 2.27. She was adjudged Player of the Match in both ODIs against Windies and also claimed Player of the Series award for her consistent performances throughout the series. The left-arm orthodox spinner has been ever-present for Pakistan since making her debut back in 2009 against Ireland at Belfast where she took two wickets for 24 runs in seven overs without much trouble. Since then she hasn’t looked back as she kept improving with every game underlined by outstanding performances against Australia (2010), England (2012) and India (2016).
