Today, his legacy lives on through his daughter Robin Christensen-Roussimoff.

Robin, who bears an uncanny resemblance to her father Andre the Giant, serves as an ambassador for the Andre the Giant Memorial Foundation and raises both money and awareness about acromegaly (which her father suffered from). Robin has made several public appearances to commemorate her father.

She was the sole child of Andre the Giant and Jean Christensen, his first wife. At fourteen, she attempted to follow in his footsteps by becoming a wrestler like her father had done; unfortunately her career didn’t flourish like anticipated. A week after his death was discovered through an answering machine message left by Andre on his answering machine.

Although Andre the Giant passed away in 1993, his legacy lives on through his daughter Robin Christensen-Roussimoff who acts as an ambassador for the Andre the Giant Memorial Foundation and works to spread awareness of acromegaly (a rare condition caused by excessive growth hormone production). She also enjoys an extensive acting career that she uses to honor his memory through public appearances.

She attempted to follow in the footsteps of her father by becoming a professional wrestler, but her efforts proved futile. Instead, she turned her talents towards acting instead and has since appeared in multiple television series and films.

After initially following her father’s footsteps and becoming a professional wrestler, she eventually gave it up and focused on acting instead. She currently resides in Seattle, Washington where she makes a living through both acting and inheriting from him; additionally she maintains an arrangement with WWE that allows her to use his name at events and pays royalties in return for royalties for this privilege.
