Some people do not like the idea of playing a video game that is set in an open world; they prefer to be restricted and guided through the story. However, for those who want to explore their surroundings without having any boundaries imposed on them, here are five popular open-world exploration games where you can freely roam around: Assassin’s Creed II, Fallout 3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Grand Theft Auto IV, and Red Dead Redemption. However, you can check out upcoming survival games in 2021-2022

The most interesting part is exploring the land of Skyrim, which is scattered with dungeons and caverns where treasures are found. There are also some side quests that you can do to earn money, boost your skills or discover new stories. One of the main features of this game is allowing players to discover new locations, particularly the lost ones.
